Meet, Jamey Thompson.
Jamey grew up in regional Western Australia, but now lives in Perth with her husband and six-year-old son. By day, Jamey works in the film and TV industry. By night, she designs and makes colourful fly nets. She loves the places it’s taken her since she sewed her first ‘pretty’ fly net in 2019 – all the rural people she’s met at markets and field days, the customers who share their fly net adventures on social media, the gorgeous bush-based gift shops, and the incredible and entrepreneurial women she’s crossed paths with along the way.

Prettyfly is the fanciful idea I always joked about when I'd visit family in the WA Wheatbelt region - "One day I'm going to design a fly net that looks halfway decent!" When the perfect name came to me (thanks, The Offspring!), I hurried to buy Spotlight out of bridal tulle and - many prototypes later - the rest is history.
I’m in awe of Bec from Bush Glitter - the beautiful business she has grown, her unwavering sense of style and her vision. Which is why I’m so excited about this collaboration. We hope you love your Prettyfly x Bush Glitter fly net! X
